Reflexive pronouns (ending in -self or -selves) are used when the subject and object of the sentence are the exact same person or entity.
এই নিয়মটি বোঝার আগে নিচের মৌলিক বিষয়গুলো পর্যালোচনা করার পরামর্শ দেওয়া হচ্ছে: Personal Pronouns: Subject & Object.
Singular: myself, yourself, himself, herself, itself. Plural: ourselves, yourselves, themselves.
একবচনে -self এবং বহুবচনে -selves যুক্ত হয়।
Do not use reflexive pronouns where a standard personal pronoun is required.
সাধারণ Personal pronoun-এর জায়গায় জোর করে Reflexive pronoun ব্যবহার করবেন না।
তিনি নিজে নিজেই কোডিং শিখেছিলেন।
Please send the files to John and myself.
Please send the files to John and me.
পার্থক্য:'Me' is the proper object of the preposition 'to'.
'to' প্রেপজিশনের পরে স্বাভাবিক অবজেক্ট 'me' বসবে।
পরিচয় দিতে গিয়ে 'Myself is...' বলা।
কেন এই ভুল হয়: 'Myself' cannot function as the subject of a sentence. ('Myself' কখনোই সাবজেক্ট হতে পারে না। 'I am Rahat' বা 'My name is Rahat' বলা উচিত।)
সঠিক প্রয়োগ: I am Rahat, and I will be your instructor.
